Paul Svoboda
Initially studying at the School of Music, University of Queensland, and graduating in 1989 with a University Medal for outstanding achievement, Paul received his Doctorate of Musical Arts in 1994 from the Sibelius Academy of Music in Helsinki, Finland.  Paul is highly active as a teacher, performer and commissioned composer. His list of compositions is comprehensive, is in demand worldwide, and features in the latest AMEB Classical Guitar Syllabus. His music is regularly broadcast on ABC Classic FM.

Alongside four volumes of guitar solo pieces, ranging from Preliminary to Concert level, Paul’s collection of original works for classical guitar ensemble is extensive.
Paul is in demand as a classical guitar ensemble specialist. In 2014, in association with Slava Grigoryan and the Adelaide Guitar Festival, he founded the Adelaide Guitar Winter School and has directed the Adelaide Guitar Festival Orchestra ever since. 2025 marked the 11th anniversary of this venture.

In 2007 Paul founded the Aurora Guitar Ensemble, an acclaimed group comprising dedicated and passionate classical guitarists. Now in its 19th year, Aurora performs regularly. Aurora recorded their first CD, Every Second Tuesday in 2011 and their second CD, Sunday Sessions was released in 2016. Aurora has performed at the Adelaide Guitar Festival in 2014, 2018 and 2024, to great acclaim.

Ingrid Riollot
Ingrid is an internationally acclaimed French classical guitarist known for her expressive tone, technical brilliance, and engaging stage presence. A graduate of the Lyon Conservatory with top honors, she has studied with renowned masters including David Russell and Joaquín Clerch. After two decades of teaching in France, Switzerland, and China, Ingrid shifted focus to full-time performance in 2018, touring across five continents.

Her albums include Hommage, My Guitar, Leyenda, and the 2025 release Travel Notes. Now based in Esperance, Western Australia, she performs on a Smallman & Sons guitar and is endorsed by Savarez strings. Ingrid is the artistic director of the Taranaki Classical Summer School and concert series in New Zealand, where she shares her passion for music with audiences and aspiring guitarists alike. Through her solo and chamber work, she brings warmth, depth, and storytelling to every performance, captivating listeners worldwide.
