Limelight Drama celebrates a third year of Class Act performances.

 

Our Intermediate Acting Class (11-14 yrs) and Senior Acting Class (14-18yrs) will grace the stage over a series of two nights on Friday 12th June and Saturday 13th June. 

 

 

Intermediate Acting bring you a one act play “Us and Them”. A timeless classic by David Campton. Under the eye of the all-seeing recorders, two groups meet. They divide the land, first with a line, then with a wall. From there on the trouble begins. 

All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women are merely players…Senior Acting will present a series of comedic and dramatic scenes taken from seven New Zealand plays. Each scene will explore one of Shakespeare’s seven ages of man. Beginning with the infant, “mewling and puking in his mother’s arms”, to the final stage, death. “Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything”.
